This course is ideal for students, Grades 6-8.

Through writing exercises, this class will help students gain a better understanding of the mechanics of reading and writing. However, more importantly, this class will empower the creative thinking of students. As Voltaire once said, “Writing is the painting of the voice.”

We intend to build the confidence of students by addressing communication, self-expression, and imagination. Everyone has a story to share. A story that will bind people together as a community of voices. In this five weeks course, we will study the craft of writing, use memory to write vivid settings, and develop characters from scratch.
