The Trigonometry Bootcamp introduces students to trigonometry in preparation for trig/precalculus. The course is designed to familiarize students with central concepts in trigonometry. We will cover unit circle and trigonometric functions, sine and cosine functions, Pythagorean identity, as well as triangle angles and lengths.
Students are taught strategies for learning trigonometric functions, graphing trigonometric functions, and proving trigonometric identities. They will also learn how to graph and distinguish conic sections, graph and combine vectors, and work with matrices to solve systems of equations.
With school closure still in place, students may not be as well prep to be ready to take on trigonometry in the upcoming school year. The small class size and bootcamp style format allows student to be able to practice concepts with the personalized support of a credentialed instructor.
